My name is Shiba Crayton, and I am the managing attorney and founder of Crayton Law, PLLC. I am dedicated to providing thoughtful, client-focused legal services and helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with confidence and care. My Story

Shiba Crayton is the managing member of Crayton Law, PLLC. She is a dedicated advocate who believes in providing every individual the opportunity to succeed. She has over 20 years of experience as a licensed social worker, including nearly a decade as a Compliance Manager. She is highly experienced in training on employment-related matters, including sexual harassment, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and confidentiality requirements. Her background as a medical social worker and Health Equity Analyst has provided her with expertise in public health regulations, epidemiology, HIPAA compliance, social justice reform, antitrust, and anti-kickback laws. She also has experience drafting and revising employee manuals, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Shiba Crayton holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Houston and graduated cum laude in December 2017 from South Texas College of Law Houston, with a concentration in health law. Prior to entering legal practice, she worked at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston as a researcher in developmental pediatrics. During law school, she was selected as a Marshall-Brennan Fellow, where she taught constitutional law and legal advocacy to high school students. She also served for five years on the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work Alumni Board.
She resides in Katy, Texas, and is proud of her rural Texas upbringing. She has a strong commitment to serving underrepresented communities, demonstrated through years of experience working with diverse populations. This commitment led her to pursue a legal career. Her professional values emphasize service, leadership, and analytical problem-solving, which she applies to provide clients with a professional, approachable, and client-focused experience.
